The Releasely Reader runs in your browser. When you press the button that works out a date, or the one that compares two documents, your browser sends one empty request to our counter. This site sets no cookies and uses no trackers.

What stays on your device

Everything you type: dates, names, addresses and document labels. It is not saved in your browser either, so it is gone when you close the page. No file is opened or uploaded; the Reader only reads the text you type.

What we count

When you press the button that works out a date, or the one that compares two documents, your browser sends one empty request to our own counter. It contains none of what you typed: no date, name, address or file. It sets no cookie. We do not store your IP address; Cloudflare, which serves this site, sees it with every visit. We store a single number: how many times a calculation was run that day. Everything you type stays on your device. Whether a counter like this needs consent under ePrivacy/GDPR is not yet checked by a lawyer.

What we ask you not to type

Bank account numbers, card numbers, passwords, ID numbers or tax numbers. The Reader does not need them.
