Questions

Will it get my money released?

No. Only the platform decides. The Reader counts a date and checks documents; it cannot see or change your account and does not contact anyone.

What does the Reader do?

Two things. It works out the date from the day you type (PayPal day 21 and day 180, Stripe day 120, the Etsy dates), and it checks that the name and address on two documents equal each other and the name on your account.

Which platforms are covered?

PayPal, Stripe and Etsy. Nothing else.

Where do the rules come from?

From pages the platforms publish: help pages, policies and agreements. Each point names its page and the day it was read (2026-10-14). The Etsy Payments Policy blocked our reader (HTTP 403), so what only that policy says is shown as NOT CONFIRMED, from an archive copy of 2026-08-27.

Is "names on document 1 and 2 must match" a platform rule?

Not in those words. PayPal and Stripe say a document must match the information on your account. The comparison of two documents with each other is our own helper. For Etsy, the pages we read do not say it in these words.

What if the platform says something different?

The platform wins. Pages change. Check the platform's own page before you rely on a date.

Is this legal advice?

No. Whether to involve a lawyer or a regulator is a decision for you and a licensed professional in your country.

Who sees what I type?

Nobody. The names, addresses and dates stay in your browser and are not stored there either. See the privacy page for the one anonymous count.

Is there a paid kit?

Not yet. A kit is planned (about $39) but only if the free Reader is used enough. There is no buy button. See the kit page.

Which countries?

The pages we read are mostly the US English versions. Some platforms differ per country, so check your own platform page.

Does it work on a phone?

Yes. The pages are built for a width of 375 pixels and up.
